Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 1982) is an acclaimed American actor. Most notably, she appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Her parents had divorced and they moved together with their mother into Los Angeles. In 2001, despite her finances it was possible to land her first major part in the web-based video series Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's main character. In 2002 she was nominated to receive an Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley. In 2004, Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost in which she was a main actor for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace decided to concentrate on film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005. The actress has also appeared on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 as well as in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. The actress reprised her character in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
