Audrey Justine Tautou (born Audrey Justine Tautou) is an French model and actor. She rose to prominence through her role as the awkward, eccentric waitress Amelie who won many awards. Tautou, who is often considered to be Audrey Hepburn for her good looks as well as acting ability and a charismatic personality she offers the best of two the worlds. Acting did not seem like a likely career choice for this pretty brunette born into a lineage that was a mixture of intelligents. Her father was a dental surgeon and mother was an educator. When she was in high school, she caught the bug of acting, that eventually led her to become a pro actor. She took acting lessons at Cours Florent and got a part in the television film production Coeur de cible. Venus Beauty Institute saw her perform in her first film which was very well-received. A daring actress, she's been in various genres, from romantic comedies like Amelie and thrillers such as Dirty Pretty Things. A native of France she has appeared in a number of French films prior to she made her Hollywood debut with Tom Hanks in the film The Da Vinci Code. Her fashion sense is what makes her stand out as a model.
